There are a few things we ask of a buyer before they purchase animals from our farm. This is just to make sure that the animals we sell are being taken care of. These are not difficult, just basic things to ensure the animal’s health, safety, and quality of life. This will be signed and agreed upon by both seller and buyer at the time of purchase of said animal(s).
You are expected to provide proper fencing and shelter for said animal(s) you are purchasing. You will also provide fresh food, water, and proper care and maintenance for the animal(s). This includes but isn’t limited to worming, feet trimmings, vaccinations, and vet care.
If for any reason, said animal is no longer wanted or can't be kept, you will notify us first. We will have the first option to buy the animal back. If we choose not to buy the animal back, you can find another home for it. We do ask that you will ask the new prospective buyer to adhere to the same conditions we are asking you to.
We have the right to call and come and see the conditions of said animal at any given time and if they are less then adequate, we have the right to remove said animal from the premises. If you have any questions at any time about the care or health of the animal, feel free to contact us and we will help any way we can. There are lots of books and resources out there to find what you need as well.
The animal(s) will be visually inspected by the buyer and seller at time of sale. Your signature on this form validates the approval of the animal(s). The animal(s) comes with current vaccinations, feet trimmings, and wormings. If said animal(s) are not old enough for such, you will be notified of that and when they will need it at the time of sale. When the animal leaves our premises, it then becomes the responbility of the buyer and it is their job to provide for it.
Said animal(s) will not be uses for food or slaughter. Exceptions can be made, as long as we know before sale is final.
Do not abuse or treat animal(s) in an inhumane way.
Please remember to give your animal(s) plenty of love and attention. Also remember we are here if you ever have any questions.
By signing this agreement, I promise to fulfill the expectations listed above and agree to these conditions.
